Everyone is different…so we all heal differently. You will be darker for 2-3 days and flaking will follow. During this healing process there could be some redness, but it will go away. Some people will have some scabbing and could cause the healing process to extend a few days longer. It will also cause darker and lighter areas during the healing process. Wait to see what color returns before you know if you need a touch up or not. Initial touch up sessions are between 4 and 6 weeks.
Not everyone swells…but if your lips do swell they will only be swollen for 2-4 hours. This is normal. After the swelling is gone you will see more color. Takes about a week for the color to settle. Initial touch up if needed 4-6 weeks.
You have up to 8 weeks to schedule a initial touch up after your first session. At 8 weeks it becomes a 2-18 month touch up session. Initial touch up sessions are ONLY available once after your first session and ONLY up to 8 weeks.
At 18 months, it becomes a full session again. It's a repeating cycle. You can have up to four (2-18 month) touch ups within your 2-18 month time frame. Only one or two are usually needed.
